Position Summary:
Reporting to the General Market Sales Manager, this position is responsible for generating equipment sales in new accounts, and penetrating existing accounts within the Manitoba and Saskatchewan region. As a trusted advisor to your customers, you’ll serve as more than just a sales rep, but a consultant and expert on all things foodservice including industry trends, menu and business development, new products and equipment innovations.
What you’ll do:
- Researches, contacts, qualifies, prepares and presents proposals to acquire new accounts
- Manages day-to-day relationships with existing customers by developing high-trust advisor relationships.
- Identifies short-term and long-term sales retention and penetration opportunities
- Collaborating with sales department and other teams to meet targets
- Creating sales presentations and demos for potential clients
- Managing contracts
- Addressing client complaints or concerns
What you’ll need:
- Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills; we’re looking for the perfect fit for our team.
- Desire to travel (great selection of road trip music strongly encouraged. For example: “All Star – Smash Mouth”, “Here I go Again – Whitesnake”, etc.)
- Results driven with a proven ability to succeed in achieving sales targets.
- Be a DSL brand ambassador to internal and external stakeholders.
- Be a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and drive projects forward with minimal supervision.
- Be a goal setter with an ongoing commitment to personal growth, learning, and skill development.
- Demonstrate the ability to set individual goals, monitor the progress of objectives against targets, and develop corrective actions or recommendations to ensure goals are achieved.
- University Degree / College Diploma.
- Completed Professional Selling Skills or equivalent sales skill development course.
